Davao is still top choice for BPOs

DAVAO CITY has maintained its lead as an attraction for the business processing outsourcing (BPO) sector in 2011, with nine other cities maintaining their rank from the previous year, according to a report released yesterday.

The city was tagged by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) and Department of Science and Technology (DoST) -- in the Next Wave Cities Report -- as the top outsourcing site after Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Metro Clark.
