IBM Expanding Business In Philippines

MANILA, Philippines - Giant information technology (IT) firm IBM Philippines, Inc. is keen on establishing a partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) in putting up research and development (R & D) centers in strategic locations nationwide.

In an interview with DoST Secretary Mario Montejo during the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Doppler radar in Bato, Catanduanes, he said the IBM has chosen to expand its business here in the country and further tap the Filipinos’ technological expertise.
