Business-process outsourcing (BPO) firms offering voice and non-voice services are bullish about the prospects of their industry and are eyeing a 20-percent growth this year despite the appreciation of the peso.
In a presentation during the Philippine Economic Briefing on Monday, Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) President Benedict C. Hernandez said the Philippines remains the top choice of foreign companies.
Earlier, Hernandez noted that the skills of Filipino workers and the quality of service they provide are the main attractions for companies that outsource their services here.
